    Biography Gianluca Renzi was born in 1975 in Frosinone, a little city near Rome. Acoustic and electric bass player, classical and jazz musician, he studied with Paolino Dalla Porta, Marc Johnson and Palle Danielsson.

As a teenager in Tucson, the trumpet player joined the symphony orchestra the same year he became a member of Los Changuitos Feos de Tucson, a youth mariachi group whose name translates to the Ugly Little Monkeys of Tucson.
