Search Engine Rankings Question on magazine subscription services
We’ve been posting to this blog for many months on different thoughts concerning the different magazine subscription services we offer. What we’ve found through trial and error is that there are 2 huge limitations to getting found on the search engines by more readers who can benefit from our tidbits of wisdom. The first is that Yahoo, MSN and Google which are responsible for most traffic via search engines treat our blog differently. The second problem is coming up with content as fast as possible in the most cost effective way.
I was reading a blog I’ve been following for over a year and he posed a challenge this weekend and asked his readers if they could come up with a compelling question about ranking on the 3 top engines. So based on our personal challenges with getting the word out, my question is:
“James, Since the engines have different algorithms for rankings would you with your blog, create different postings for each engine and in a sense run 3 separate blogs on your site to drive rankings thru each engine. Or would you have one blog and just mix up the postings with an emphasis on one engine with each posting? And do you have suggestions on how to cost effectively get the content publishing done more efficiently? (is this 2 questions, if so, just tackle the first one)
