Natural Acne Solutions: Eradicating Pimples and Scars

by Grace Empson

Acne, although common, is one of the most complicated skin conditions in existence and it is characterized by blackheads, whiteheads and scars. So, what encourages acne and how can we eliminate pimples and scars?

Everything starts with an inflammatory reaction in the affected area that our system tries to counter in order to protect the body from estranged substances or bacteria. Once inflammation occurs our white blood cells omit a series of toxic elements that seek to eliminate pathogens within our bloodstream. Due to this chemical activity the affected areas will often appear redder and warmer than they were previously. During this entire process the aforementioned chemicals leak into the tissues and cause swelling, so while protecting your body, the immune system damages healthy cells on the way.

The first immune elements that appear in the affected area are phagocytes which are full of lysosome, giving them the ability to eliminate bacteria, debris and dying cells in its fight against inflammation.

Something that makes the inflammatory process more complex is the production of hydrogen peroxide; this chemical is excellent against bacteria but can instigate deep and notorious acne scaring.

It is also important to note that because acne and heightened anxiety and stress go hand in hand, you cannot reduce one without reducing the other. This is because acute stress encourages cortisone output and stimulates sebum production in the system.

EASY ADULT ACNE TREATMENT STRATEGIES

1. Stop picking and squeezing blackheads and whiteheads as this only increases the likelihood of infection and scarring. If necessary, your doctor will eliminate the comedones with sterile instruments.

2. Some people think that excessive sweat or dirt can cause acne; however, what we see as dark dots in blackheads is not dirt, but oxidized sebum. Ridiculous levels of facial cleaning will do nothing to diminish acne, it will only agitate it. Simply clean your face twice a day with a gentle soap or specialized acne facial cleanser, and remember to always pat the surface area dry, don't rub.

3. Safeguard against further inflammation by always selecting a natural acne solution marked 'noncomedogenic' as they are certified against aggravating acne.

4. The vast majority of drug store acne products increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. As a result, you may also wish to be extra careful when guarding yourself against the sun's harmful rays, while steering clear of sun beds and UV laps.

5. A number of cosmetic treatments such as facials can agitate acne so it may be wise to first consult your doctor.

6. Keep your fingers and hair away from your acne, as both are known to worsen the condition.

GLYCOBALM is the benchmark noncomedogenic adult acne treatment cream on the market. This 100% natural adult acne treatment has been demonstrated to eliminate all types of acne and is an integral warrior in the battle against acne.
