Dog Treats From Organic Companies

by Melinda Smith

My dog always eats the healthiest dog food and dog treats there is to offer. If I would not eat food made with sub par ingredients then why would I feed it to my dog? The foods I find that have the greatest results are Flint River Ranch Dog Food and Wysong Dog Food.

Many people have been investigating organic dog treats for their canine companions. Some people will offer dog treats as praise for desired behavior. However, you must read the ingredients carefully. Even if the dog treats you have chosen are made by a reputable organic food company, they might contain artificial ingredients.

Beyond organic food and dog treats being healthier for my dog they are also better for the environment. I like to know that the purchases I make are not contributing to our water sources being polluted by pesticides that are completely unnecessary in this day and age when there are so many non-polluting options available to farmers.

If you're deciding to make the switch to organic dog food and treats there are a few things you can look out for. Most organic makers will clearly market their materials as organic. If you are unsure if they are really organic or not, just do a quick web search. You should be able to find sources other than the maker to indicate that they are organic.

You can also find numerous consumer sites which evaluate organic projects. A number of these sites even use set criteria to certify that a company or a product is actually organic. Try to locate a company that has been approved by more than one of these sites. Then you can be pretty sure that you are really buying organic products.

Some folks have concerns when making the switch to organic. One concern is that the products will be prohibitively expensive. While organic products can be slightly more expensive than their non-organic counterparts, the difference in cost is typically minimal and is well worth it when you consider the superior quality of the products you will be getting.

Another worrying point for some is that their dogs won't react well to a change in dog food or treats. I've changed my own dog and I know others who have done the same. There have been no bad side effects, and I've noticed that my dog now has more energy than before and just generally feels better too.

I like the improvements I have seen by feeding my dog products such as Flint River Ranch Dog Food and Wysong Dog Food. Many people have been investigating organic dog treats for their canine companions. Some people will offer treats to their dog as praise for desired behavior. Even if the canine treats you have chosen are made by a reputable organic food company, they might contain artificial ingredients. Of course organic treats and food are more nutritious for your dog. Most organic makers will clearly market their materials as organic. If you are unsure if they are really organic or not, just do a quick web search.
