New Challenger Parts Make A New Car Feel Classic

by Tom S Powers

The Dodge Challenger is one of the most anticipated car releases in the United States. The Challenger, a redesign of a classic American muscle car, recaptures the heyday spirit of the 1960's and 1970's era of classic cars. Its rerelease will delight a new generation of automobile enthusiasts, giving them a chance to relive the experiences of the zenith of the muscle car era. Even though most of the car will be manufactured in countries worldwide, people will still get to enjoy a taste of its Detroit steel.

As the new Dodge Challenger gets into the hands of car modifiers everywhere, the inevitable demand for new Challenger parts, both of the stock and of the aftermarket variety, will rise. Because the new model is based heavily on the construct and the mechanical underpinnings of the old Challenger, the number of parts that should be available once the car comes to public retail should be enough to allow any gear head to modify the model to their heart's content.

Many major aftermarket auto part makers are releasing their 2008 2009 Challenger parts catalogs, allowing people who have had a chance to preorder one of the vehicles the opportunity to get their parts orders in before the rush ensues upon the car's public release. Because the car is mechanically similar to older models, many firms that deal with making parts for the older Challengers are modifying their creations to work with the new models.

New Challenger parts available for the 2009 model include everything from modified racing transmissions, clutches, and engine header kits to allow the vehicle to be modified for drag racing purposes. As the Challenger was a popular choice for the drag racer in the last generation, the younger buyers are likely going to use the car in much the same fashion, giving them a chance to show off their car modification skills.

However, if you desire a flashier Challenger, you have the option of new exterior and interior parts for appearance that are coming to the market. Most of all, there are many seating modifications, dashboard kits, and other things to sharpen vehicle appearance and make the vehicle look like a classic Challenger in the skin of a newer model.

It is believed that mechanical accessories for the new Challenger will be a little overpriced when the first purchasers buy parts for their individual cars. But, the Challenger vehicle will be quite affordable, which means typical automobile enthusiasts can purchase their dream car and also the mechanical accessories to make it the envy of all of their friends.

The Dodge Challenger is certainly attracting attention: it is the most anticipated car launch in the United States this year. As car modifiers are being able to get their hands on the new Dodge Challenger, the demand for new Challenger parts inevitably rises. Because the new Challenger is similar to the older version when it comes to the mechanical underpinnings, the amount of parts available once the car comes into the public eye should be plentiful enough for any car junkie to be able to modify their vehicle at their will. A large number of aftermarket car part manufacturers are issuing their parts catalogs for the 2008 2009 Challenger parts.
