What Are the Best Bass Fishing Lures To Attract Big Bass Fish?
My uncle and I have this ongoing competition between us. You should see him! When he catches more fish than me, he struts around for a week straight and reminds me about it every time he sees me. On top of all that he'll ask the same question repeatedly: "So, how many fish have you caught lately?"
According to him, plastic worms are the best when it comes to bass fishing lures. All right, so most of the time he knows what he's talking about. He has occasionally demonstrated that. When I'm sitting around with my bucket empty, and he's hauling in a monstrous bass, I could just push him overboard.
However, on our last trip to catch bass fish, I definitely out-fished him. I was pulling them in right and left, and he was scowling at me the whole time!
So how did I do it? Well, I use crankbait as my bass fishing lures. These look like little baitfish or crawfish, and it's like a juicy steak to a bass fish. Since they can give you effective results in most kinds of water, they're really good fishing lures to have.
I also use spinnerbaits as a backup. These tiny buggers resemble baitfish. They are really good for attracting large bass very quickly. They come in many different colors, and are great for most waters.
To give you an idea of how successful I was, I caught enough bass to stuff ourselves silly that night and still had enough left for breakfast the following day. I consoled my uncle by telling him he could use his fish as the appetizer. I must say I'm getting the hang of this fishing thing. But I still need my own story about the big one that got away!
